Scholarships from other organizations
The Institute also warmly welcomes scholarship recipients and fellows from other renowned organisations. Each year, the Institute hosts scholars from all over the world who conduct research funded by grants provided by foundations and donors such as the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, the Swiss National Science Foundation, TÜBITAK and the DAAD.
If you plan to apply for a scholarship from another organization, please contact our library, in order to request that a workstation be reserved for the duration of your intended stay. Please read the library’s information on access and registration here. Please contact us one month ahead of the submission deadline at the latest.
Information for Applicants for TÜBITAK scholarships (Turkey)
Applicants for a Tübitak scholarship can request the use of a workstation in our library for a research stay of up to 6 months between 1 October and 31 March of each year. Please use our application form to submit your application. Please send the application form and the documents listed below to our Welcome Center (firstname.lastname@example.org).
The application deadline for the period 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022 is 15 November 2020.
- Professors should submit a short CV and a concise description of their research topic.
- Doctoral and post-doctoral candidates need to provide a detailed summary of their dissertation and a letter of recommendation from their supervising professor; these materials should clearly state the research topic and demonstrate the need to utilize the library of the Max Planck Institute.
