Coronavirus: Protective Measures Update

The institute building is generally accessible to all persons.

Library guests (including scholarship recipients possessing a letter of admission) will be permitted entrance if fully vaccinated or if they have recovered from a Covid-19 infection. Proof must be submitted in advance of the first library entrance. Owing to high demand and the reduced number of workspaces available in the library reading rooms (due to Covid-19 restrictions), we regret to inform you that no additional guests will be admitted for multi-day research stays until further notice.

Individuals who are exhibiting flu-like symptoms (e.g. fever, breathing difficulties) are not allowed to enter the Institute.

You are obliged to wear a medical mask (FFP2 masks are recommended) in all library locations other than when seated at your reading room workstation.

The general Institute rules on hygiene and physical distancing are to be observed at all times.

Participation at events requires advance registration.
