Lisa-Kristin Klapdor (née Eilers) has been a research assistant at the Institute under Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Reinhard Zimmermann since 2017.

She studied law from 2011 to 2017 at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg, where she was a scholarship recipient of the German Academic Scholarship Foundation. In 2013 she completed a trimester abroad at the University of Cambridge, Gonville and Caius College, with scholarship funding from Latham & Watkins. From 2014 to 2017 she worked as a student research assistant at the Institute under Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Reinhard Zimmermann. In 2015 she was honoured by the DJFT (Deutscher Juristen-Fakultätentag) as best oralist at the Hans Soldan Moot.

Lisa-Kristin Klapdor sat for the first state law exam in 2017 in Hamburg. From June 2017 to June 2019 she completed her legal traineeship (Referendariat) at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court (traineeship included stations at the Federal Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection, the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Hamburg and New York City). Thereafter she sat for the second state law exam.
