With regularly scheduled lectures and symposiums, the Centre of Expertise on China and Korea creates a forum to discuss current developments in Chinese and Korean law.

 

Symposium “Third Chinese-European Law Symposium: Latest Developments in Private Law in China and Germany”, 17 October 2025

This event is being held in cooperation with the Law Institute of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. The symposium will bring together leading experts in comparative legal studies for a full day of scientific discussion. The programme will offer an in-depth exploration of key issues in legal history, civil law, obligations, family law and company law, with a particular focus on current developments in the legal systems of China and Germany. more
