The Civil Code of the People's Republic of China came into force on 1 January 2021. To further specify the provisions of the law, the Supreme People's Court has issued various judicial interpretations or published drafts of such interpretations. At this symposium, speakers from academia and practice will shed light on how the new Chinese Civil Code has been implemented by the Supreme People's Court and in the jurisprudence of the lower courts over the past two years.
