Konrad Duden

Konrad is a senior research fellow at the Max Planck Institute in Hamburg. He studied law as well as chemistry in Munich, Heidelberg, Bilbao and Cambridge. He was awarded his doctoral degree in Heidelberg, and he completed his legal traineeship in Hamburg with stations at the Federal Constitutional Court and the European Commission.

Kristin is a senior research staff member and post-doctoral candidate at the Institute for Legal History in Munster. After studying in Munster and Oxford, she obtained her doctorate based on a study of   profit adjustment and completed her legal traineeship in Munster und Bern.

Florian is assistant professor at the Faculty of Law of the Sigmund Freud University. He was awarded a master degree in Slavonic studies and a doctoral degree in law at the University of Vienna. Florian is the chairperson of IACPIL (igkk.org) and an associate member of the International Academy of Comparative Law (AIDC/IACL).

Nicola is a research assistant with the Seminar für ausländisches und internationales Privat- und Prozessrecht at the University of Hamburg. She studied law in Passau and Geneva and is doing her doctorate at the University of Passau in the field of international family law.

Tobias is a research fellow at the Institute for Private International and Comparative Law of the University of Cologne and is completing his legal traineeship at the Higher Regional Court of Cologne. He studied law in Cologne, Paris and Oxford before completing his doctoral degree at the University of Oxford.

Denise Wiedemann

Denise is the senior research fellow responsible for the Latin America desk at the Max Planck Institute in Hamburg, where she is also pursuing her post-doctoral degree. After her studies in Meißen (Rechtspflege), Leipzig and Lisbon, she earned her doctoral degree under the supervision of Prof. Berger (Leipzig) in international civil procedure and completed here legal traineeship in Hamburg.

Felix M. Wilke

Felix studied law with a supplemental training in economics at the University of Bayreuth. He earned his LL.M. degree at the University of Michigan and his doctoral degree back in Bayreuth. Having completed his legal traineeship at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court in Hamburg, he was once again employed by his Franconian alma mater, this time as a senior assistant lecturer.
