Alexander Rieß studied law at the EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht from 2020 to 2025. In addition to his legal program, Alexander earned an M.A. in business. During his time of study, he worked as a student assistant under Prof. Dr. Dr. Martin Will, M.A., LL.M. (Cambridge), for whom he later worked as a research assistant. After completing his legal studies, Alexander was employed as a research assistant at an international law firm in Frankfurt specialized in business transactions.

Alexander has since February 2026 been a research assistant and doctoral candidate at the Institute, where he is part of the working group of Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Dr. h.c. Holger Fleischer, LL.M. (Univ. of Michigan).
