Annika Diemke

Vita

Annika Diemke studied law at Bucerius Law School from 2016 to 2022. Moreover, she attended the National University of Singapore on a PROMOS scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service in 2018. During her studies, she served as head of the public law department at Bucerius Law Journal.

Annika Diemke passed her First State Law Examination in December 2021 and began her doctoral studies in January 2022 while working under Prof. Dr. Anne Röthel at the Chair of Civil Law, European and International Civil Law at Bucerius Law School. She joined the Institute in January 2024 as a research associate under Prof. Dr. Anne Röthel. Here, Annika Diemke continues to work on her doctoral thesis (which examines the margins of German inheritance law), funded by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom.
