Nils Rüstmann was at the Institute since November 2019 until Octobber 2023.

He studied law from 2013 to 2019 at the University of Hamburg as well as from September 2015 to July 2016 at Cardiff University, Wales. In September 2019 he sat the first state law exam in Hamburg.

In his doctoral project, which is funded by a scholarship from the Arbeitskreis für Wirtschaft und Recht, he is comparatively examining preventive restructurings.
