Vita

Iryna Dikovska studied law at the Taras Schevchenko National University of Kyiv, where she earned her doctoral degree in the field of air transport in 2002 and defended her post-doctoral project in international contractual obligations in 2014. For more than 20 years, she was employed in the Civil Law Department of the Taras Schevchenko National University of Kyiv, first as an assistant, later as a lecturer, and finally as professor.

She is a qualified lawyer and mediator in Ukraine and for many years combined her teaching activities with her work as a practising lawyer. Additionally, she served as an instructor in the notary training program organized by the Ukrainian chamber of notaries. Iryna Dikovska serves as a member of the  advisory board for the Supreme Court of Ukraine.  From April 2022 until April 2024 she was a scholarship recipient and guest researcher at the Institute. She has been an academic staff member at the Institute since May 2024 with a particular focus on private international law.
