Vita

Caroline Meyer studied law from 2017 to 2023 at the Humboldt Universität zu Berlin and from 2019 to 2021 at the Université Paris II/Panthéon Assas in the context of their German-French law program. During her time as a law student, she also worked as a student assistant at the Institute’s Centre of Expertise on Japanese Law. She sat for her first state law exam in Berlin.

Caroline Meyer has been a research assistant at the Institute since May 2023. The focal point of her research is Japanese civil law, with an emphasis on Japanese law of obligations.
