Enterprise Foundations and Family Firms

On 22 and 23 September 2022, the fifth edition of the “Hamburg Conference: Law and Management of Family Firms” will be held at our Institute. Once again management researchers and corporate law specialists, academics as well as practitioners, will come together to exchange views on issues pertaining to the law and management of family businesses across disciplinary and national boundaries. This year’s conference, co-hosted by Institute director Holger Fleischer and Stefan Prigge, professor at the Hamburg School of Business Administration and head of research at the Institut für Mittelstand und Familienunternehmen (Institute for mid-size and family businesses), will focus on “Enterprise Foundations and Family Firms”. As in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2021, the event is being held with support from the Max Planck Foundation.

The conference is a closed event. Participation is by invitation only.
