Legal studies at the University of Leipzig; 2013 1st State Law Examination. 2014 Chercheur invité at the Centre de recherche de droit international of Université Panthéon Assas (Paris II). 2017 Doctoral degree (Prof. Dr. Christian Berger, University of Leipzig); thesis awarded the doctoral prize of the Dr. Feldbausch Foundation and the Otto Hahn Medal of the MPG. Legal traineeship (Referendariat) with stations in Brasília (German Embassy) and New York (law firm specializing in investment arbitration). 2018 2nd State Law Examination.

2013-2015 Research assistant (University of Leipzig). At Institute since June 2015, Head of the Latin American Unit since 2018.
