Academic Career:

Born 1989 in Leipzig. 2007-2013 Legal studies (J.D. equivalent) at the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena (scholarships by the German National Academic Foundation and the Foundation of German Business). 2010-2011 Erasmus studies at Trinity College Dublin (inclusion in the Dean of Students Roll of Honour). 2013 First State Exam (examination prize by Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena). 2013-2014 Doctoral studies in law (PhD equivalent) at the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Walter Bayer (scholarship by the German National Academic Foundation, doctoral prizes by the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena and the Thuringian Working Group on Corporate Law). 2013-2016 Research Associate to Prof. Dr. Walter Bayer. 2015-2017 Practical legal training and Second State Exam at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court (stages, inter alia, at the Hanseatic Stock Exchange, the 10th Commercial Chamber of the Hamburg Regional Court, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, and Ballindamm Notaries). 2016-2017 Research Associate to Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Reinhard Zimmermann. 2017-2018 LL.M. studies at Harvard Law School, Concentration in Comparative Law, Finance, and Corporate Governance (ERP scholar of the German National Academic Foundation, scholarship by the German Academic Exchange Service, Research Assistant to Prof. Holger Spamann).
