2017 Gerhard Kegel Prize awarded by the German Society of International Law; 2016 winner of the Otto Hahn Medal awarded by the Max Planck Society; 2015 Serick Prize from the Institute for Foreign and International Private and Business Law Heidelberg; member of the Young Academy of Sciences and Literature Mainz since 2016; awarded undergraduate and post-graduate scholarships by the German National Academic Foundation, the Friedrich Naumann Foundation and the German Academic Exchange Service.
