Main Fields of Research:

Japanese Law, English Law, German Private Law, especially Contract Law, Comparative Law.

Academic Career:

Born 1986 in Hamburg. Studies in Law at the University of East Anglia, Norwich, UK, and at the Universidad de Salamanca, Spanien (2005 – 2009). Master of Law and Business at the Bucerius Law School, Hamburg, and the WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, Vallendar (2010 – 2011). Since 2011 Program for further education in Japanese Law at the Fernuniversität in Hagen. Since October 2014 Research associate under Prof. Dr. Harald Baum in the Japan Unit and doctoral candidate in comparative contract law (formation of contracts under English, German, and Japanese law). Visiting Researcher at Kyoto University (Japan), Scholarship provided by the Japanese Society for the Promotion of Science (2015 – 2016).
