Academic Career:

Abitur (secondary education) completed in Bremen 2007, followed by voluntary social year in Togo. 2008 -2014, study of law at the University of Freiburg, scholarship recipient of the Evangelische Studienwerk Villigst; study abroad at the University of Geneva (2010/2011), scholarship recipient of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). 2014, First State Law Examination. 2009/2010 and 2011 – 2014, student research assistant at the University of Freiburg’s Institut für Deutsches und Ausländisches Zivilprozessrecht. 2014-2016, legal internship with postings in Hamburg and London; 2016, Second State Law Examination. 2017 – present, doctoral scholarship recipient of the German National Merit Foundation. Fall Term 2017, Visiting Researcher at Harvard Law School, Cambridge (MA). At Institute since 2014.
