Current and foundational topics of German, Austrian and Swiss company and capital market law are dealt with in a book series that was initiated in 2011, the individual volumes of which can be traced back to the annual meetings of German-speaking company lawyers, held by the works’ editors in Hamburg, among other locations. The papers as well as the results of discussions associated with these gatherings are published in edited collections, which are published by Mohr Siebeck (Tübingen) in volumes averaging roughly 300 printed pages. The series is edited by Holger Fleischer, Director at the Max Planck Institute, together with Susanne Kalss (Vienna) and Hans-Ueli Vogt (Zurich).

A similar description applies to the book series launched in 2016 by Holger Fleischer in collaboration with Hideki Kanda (Tokyo), Kon Sik Kim (Seoul) and Peter Mülbert (Mainz), which deals with questions of corporate, capital market and commercial law in the region of Asia, especially China, Japan and South Korea.

All individual volumes are edited and made print-ready at the Institute. Since 2018, both series have been part of the Institute series "Beiträge zum ausländischen und internationalen Privatrecht”.
