Academic Career:

Born in 1976, Studies of law at the University of Konstanz (1996-2001), ERASMUS Scholarship for Complutense University Madrid (1999-2000), First state examination 2002, law clerk in Berlin (2002-2004), second state examination (2004). Research fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law in Hamburg since 2004. Various research trips to South America (2004-2007). Ph.D. University of Regensburg (2009)
