Klaus J. Hopt, University of Hamburg (2006). – Research associate (2001-2006) and senior research fellow, Max Planck Institute (2006-2007). – Guest lecturer, doctorate programme on european private law, University of Verona, (2006-2007). – Jun. Prof.,  Institute for Law and Economics, University of Hamburg (since 2007). – Expert for legal and economic aspects of depositor and investor protection, German Federal Ministry of Finance (2007-2008) and German Parliament (2009). – Director Hamburg, Erasmus Mundus European Doctorate in Law and Economics (since 2009). – Research Fellow, University of Cambridge (Lent term, 2010). – Secretary (2010) and speaker (2012), Association of German Jurists, Business Law Section. – Honours and awards: 3rd place Schmitthoff Essay Competition, Pace University, New York, awarded for essay on international trade law (2002); Otto-Hahn-Medal of the Max Planck Society (2006) and 1st place Academic Award of Deutsches Aktieninstitut (2007), both awarded for dissertation; Kurt-Hartwig-Siemers Research Prize of Hamburgische Wissenschaftliche Stiftung awarded for dissertation and other research works (2008).
