Research Associate at the Institute (2000 - 2004). LL.M., The University of Chicago (2002) - Scholarship Recipient of the German National Academic Foundation and the ZEIT Foundation. Second State Examination in Law, Hamburg (2004). Research Fellow at the Institute since 2004. Working Group Member on the Commission of Exchange Experts under the Federal Ministry of Finance (since 2004). Advisory Counsel to the Federal Ministry of Finance regarding prospectus liability (Spring 2005). Doctorate conferred (2005) - Recipient of the Otto Hahn Medal of the Max Planck Society for the Advancement of Science and the Academic Award 2005 (1st Place) of the Deutsches Aktieninstitut. Admitted to the New York State Bar as Attorney at Law (2005). Post-doctoral dissertation (Habilitation) under Prof. Dr. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Klaus J. Hopt (since 2005). Visiting Fellow at the University of Cambridge (Spring 2006). Short-Term-Expert of the EU for stock market law harmonisation in Turkey (2006-2007).
