Born 1976 - 1996 - 2002 studies in law at the universities of Münster, Lausanne and Cambridge - 2001 First State Exam (Faculty Prize) - 2002 Master of Law (Pembroke College Foundress Prize, Freshfields European Prize for the Best Business Law Student) - 2005 Second State Exam - 2007 PhD (Otto Hahn Medal of the Max Planck Society, Prize of the Esche Schümann Commichau Foundation) - 2007 - 2008 Visiting Researcher at Harvard Law School - Since 2002 researcher at the Max Planck Institute, since 2007 senior research fellow - responsible for the project "Conflict of Laws in Intellectual Property (www.cl-ip.eu)"
