Prof. Dr. Kerim Atamer and Prof. Dr. Necip Ortan at the Istanbul Bilgi University (Commercial, Maritime and Insurance Law Chair); 2006 - 2009 Scholar and Ph.D. Student at the International Max Planck Research School for Maritime Affairs (Ph.D. Thesis: Wilful Misconduct in International Transport Law); August 2007 Scholar at the first “Summer Academy at the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea” organized by the International Foundation for the Law of the Sea (IFLOS); March – April 2009 Visiting Scholar at the University of Cambridge, since 2007 Lecturer at the University of Hamburg, since October 2009 Senior Research Fellow responsible for Turkish Law.
