PIL, International and National Private Law of Islamic Countries with emphasis on Egypt.

Academic Career:

Born 1980; 2001-07 Legal studies University of Hamburg; 2007-09 Master of International and Comparative Law at the American University in Cairo; Arabic language studies at the School of Oriental and African Studies University of London/GB and at the Department d´Enseignement de l´Arabe Contemporain (DEAC) in Cairo/Egypt. Since 2009 doctoral candidate within the Max Planck Research Group "Changes in God's Law - An Inner Islamic Comparison of Family and Succession Laws."
