Contract Law

In the area of contract law, the Institute pursues numerous research projects relating to the unification of European civil law and national law.  Consequently, the main focus lies in European contract law and its unification whereas other projects analyse the relationship between civil law and common law.  Additional projects focus on national law, in part from a historic perspective.
