Scholarship program for visiting scholars from abroad - new application dates: 31 March 2011 and 30 September 2011
Effective immediately, applications by guest scholars seeking a Max Planck Scholarship may be submitted twice yearly. Each application date will be followed by its own selection procedure.
The 31 March date is to serve for all applicants whose guest stay will commence either in the second half of the same calendar year or during the course of the following year.
The 30 September date applies to guest scholars planning a stay in the subsequent calendar year.
All complete applications received by the respective application date will be evaluated together in the subsequent review process. Applicants will be notified of the Institute's decisions regarding scholarship awards approximately 8-10 weeks from the close of the application period.
The first application date in accord with these new guidelines is 31 March 2011. Applications may be forwarded by that date by candidates intending a research stay either in the second half of the 2011 calendar year or in the course of 2012.
