Otto-Hahn-Medal 2007 for Dr. Anatol Dutta

The Max Planck Society has awarded Dr. Anatol Dutta, M. Jur. (Oxon) with the Otto-Hahn-Medal for his dissertation titled „Die Durchsetzung öffentlichrechtlicher Forderungen ausländischer Staaten durch deutsche Gerichte“. The work examines whether domestic courts should be allowed to enforce claims based on public laws of foreign states. In 2006 the paper was published as volume 172 of the Institute series "Studien zum ausländischen und internationalen Privatrecht".
The Otto-Hahn-Medal includes a monetary prize and is intended to motivate young scholars to pursue a future university or research career. The accolade will be conferred during the yearly convocation of the Max Planck Society on 27 June 2007 in Kiel.
