Symposium „Japanese and European Private International Law in Comparative Perspective”

On the 1st and 2nd of March 2007, the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law in cooperation with the German-Japanese Association of Jurists is hosting a comparative law symposium on new developments in conflicts of law. The focal point of the conference will be the comprehensively amended Japanese international private law regulations taking effect on 1 January 2007. Leading conflicts of law scholars from Japan, Germany and other European nations will be presenting.Participation of interested individuals is welcomed. Advance registration in writing is, however, required.
