Memorial Symposium for Arthur T. von Mehren on 24 November 2007

On 24 November 2007 a commemorative work honouring Professor Arthur von Mehren will be presented during a symposium being held at the Max Planck Institute in Hamburg (see program). This commemorative volume contains contributions authored by junior legal scholars who had the opportunity to spend a year at the Harvard Law School as Joseph Story Fellows. The book is titled: Conflict of Laws in a Globalized World and is being released by Cambridge University Press. It has been edited by one current fellow of the Institute, Dr. Giesela Rühl, LL.M., and three former fellows, Dr. Eckart Gottschalk, LL.M., CMS Hasche Sigle , Prof. Dr. Jan von Hein, Universität Trier , and Prof. Dr. Ralf Michaels, LL.M., Duke University (Durham, N.C.).Date of publication: 23.10.2007
