Dr. Jürgen Samtleben, former research fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law, will hold a talk titled "The Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards in Germany and Brazil" as part of the 2010 Annual Convention of the German-Brazilian Jurists' Association.The conference is dedicated to the topic of "Arbitration and Mediation in Germany and Brazil". The conference's theme also serves as a basis for holding the conference in Zurich. Switzerland is universally recognised as a desirable arbitral forum and is home to one of the best known permanent arbitral institutes, the Zurich Chamber of Commerce.
