Civil Law and Civil Procedure in Southeastern Europe

On March 12 and 13 the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law and the KOC University, Istanbul will hold a joint conference on this subject in Istanbul.The purpose is to take stock of recent developments in civil law, particularly in contract law, and in civil procedure in 5 countries: Bulgaria, Greece, Romania, Turkey and Ukraine. The common point of reference will be harmonisation efforts at European and universal levels.
