The Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law invites students of the European Master in Law & Economics programme to a special lecture event as part of the course "Foundations of Law and Economics: Comparative Law" instructed by Jun. Prof. Dr. Patrick Leyens.Following a guided tour of the Institute’s librabry Dr. Hannes Rösler, Senior Research Fellow at the Institute, will deliver a talk titled "Choice of Law: A Real Competition of Legal Systems?"
Conducted by the University of Hamburg along with nine other universities, the European Master in Law & Economics (EMLE) is an interdisciplinary master programme open to graduates of both legal and economic faculties. It has been recognised as an Erasmus Mundus Programme by the European Commission.
