Annual Conference of the German Iranian Law Association (DIJV)

On the occasion of this year's conference of the German Iranian Law Association (DIJV) the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law is holding a series of talks on the law on the EU’s Implementing Regulation on Restrictive Measures against Iran and the German-Iranian Double Taxation Convention on Friday, 16 September 2011. The event is open to all interested individuals.

The DIJV is a non-profit organisation whose aim is fostering legal exchange and legal research in respect of the relationship between Iran and Germany as well as other economically linked nations. Through an intensive exchange of ideas, dialogue between jurists, comparative study and the creation of professional networks, the DIJV aims to promote a mutual understanding of the two nations' respective legal orders, institutions and methods of legal analysis.


Registration by 9 September 2011 is required for individuals wishing to attend the conference.
