On 18 October 2010 Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Wurmnest (University of Hannover) will hold a lecture titled "Maritime Employment Contracts in the Conflict of Laws" as part of the Hamburg Lectures series.The International Max Planck Research School for Maritime Affairs and the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea (ITLOS) invite you to attend this year's Hamburg Lectures on Maritime Affairs. The program features renowned scholars and practitioners speaking on current developments in the maritime field. All seminars and panel discussions are open to the public. Advance registration is requested: krah@mpipriv.de The International Max Planck Research School for Maritime Affairs has been in existence since 2002 and addresses legal, economic, ecological and geophysical aspects of the use, regulation and protection of the oceans. It is organised as a cooperative effort of the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private law, the Max Planck Institute for Meteorology, the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law and the University of Hamburg. Spokespersons for the Research School are Jürgen Basedow and Ulrich Magnus. |
