Dr. Anatol Dutta elected to the Scientific Board of the Federal Association of German Civil Servants

As part of this year's German Civil Servant's Day in Jena, Dr. Anatol Dutta, senior research fellow at the Institute, was elected to the Scientific Board of the Federal Association of German Civil Servants. The primary mission of the board is to provide the association with counsel and assistance in respect of basic legal questions, current legislative proposals and judicial inquiries in the area of civil status and the related fields of family law and private international law.Established in 1920, the federal association is the umbrella organisation for the state associations and represents the interests of the approximately 30,000 German civil servants. In addition to its other members drawn from the fields of practice, Professors Rainer Frank and Professor Robert Freitag also stand as members of academia serving on the Scientific Board of Advisors.
