Along with the rich and enduring academic exchange, the university honour is an acknowledgement of Prof. Siehr's research work in the field of private international law.
The Eötvös Loránd University Budapest is one of the oldest universities in Hungary, first undertaking the education of students in 1635. Today more than 30,000 students are enrolled at the university.
