The Institute is a central research facility; consequently, the circulation of materials outside of the Institute is not possible.  The Institute does not participate in any national or international inter-library lending networks.
 
Copies for personal use from journals and books that are not available elsewhere in Germany can only be mailed for a corresponding fee (see Fee Regulations).  Before contacting the Institute, we ask that individuals first check in the journal databank ZDB maintained by the Berlin State Library or the Karlsruher Virtueller Katalog (KVK), and order copies, if necessary, with delivery services such as “subito” or the Sondersammelgebiet Rechtswissenschaft of the Berlin State Library.
