Am Mittwoch, den 25. Mai 2011 wird Herr Professor George Bermann
(Columbia Law School) am Institut einen Vortrag zum Thema 'Gateway' Issues in International Commercial Arbitration halten.Professor Dr. h.c. George A. Bermann lehrt seit 1975 an der Columbia Law School in New York City. Daneben lehrt Professor Bermann regelmäßig am Europa-Kolleg Brügge (Belgien), an den Universitäten Paris I, Paris II und am Institut des Sciences Politiques in Paris. Er ist federführend für das derzeit vom American Law Institute erarbeitete Restatement of the Law Third – The U.S. Law of International Commercial Arbitration. Seine Expertise liegt auf den Gebieten „European Union Law, Comparative Law, Transnational Litigation and Arbitration, and WTO Dispute Resolution.“ |
