Second Max-Planck Postdoc-Conference on European Private Law

Am 19. und 20. Mai 2008 veranstaltete das Max-Planck-Institut für ausländisches und internationales Privatrecht in Hamburg die Second Max Planck Postdoc-Conference on European Private Law. Anknüpfend an die weithin beachtete erste Konferenz im Jahr 2006 sowie die seit 1999 etablierte Veranstaltungsreihe der Habilitandenkolloquien wurden 18 Nachwuchswissenschaftler aus ganz Europa eingeladen, um in englischer und französischer Sprache ihre Forschungsarbeiten zu präsentieren und zu diskutieren. Ziel der Veranstaltung war es, den Austausch und die Vernetzung unter den jungen Wissenschaftlern zu fördern sowie die Arbeit des Max-Planck-Instituts und die renommierte Bibliothek des Hauses bekannt zu machen.
